At the end of 2010, Suntopia was asked to install a solar system for Jamie Durie’s pool as part of his own renovation. The project was a complete success and so far has been covered by the LA Times and Elle Decor magazine.

It’s been a while since I blogged. Nate and I have just returned from a trip to Las Vegas, Nevada and Sedona in Arizona. In Vegas we delivered materials and trained our new distributor. Admiral Pool Solutions will represent Suntopia in Nevada and we are both excited with the potential. Chris, the owner of Admiral Pool Solutions, is a great guy with a skilled and enthusiastic team. I look forward to supporting Chris as he enters into a new exciting space. Next time I’ll stay away from the Casino, even though I did win one nice jackpot!

Then onto Arizona to meet up with a potential new distributor. After a couple of hours we then started the drive home, 13.5 hours later, I’m in my bed!

We have a very exciting week coming up. Nate and I will be traveling to Los Angeles to be filmed for the HGTV show “Outdoor Room” with Jamie Durie. He will showcase the Suntopia system with one of his home renovation programs. It will also be published in Architecture Digest and Opray Winfrey’s “O” magazine. We will be filmed and interviewed during the installation process. I try to post a photo or 2!

Today we launch the new web site as we near completion of our transition from Sunbather to Suntopia. Nate, our Technical Manager is out doing some service work, while Dawn is in the office sending sample packages to the East Coast responding to companies who are interested in becoming a Suntopia distributor. I’ll be out of the office towards the end of the week.
